One of the things that I find myself enjoying more and more about Battlestar Galactica is the music used in the show. Battlestar’s music seems to differ from that used in other shows in that it draws on tribal- and Eastern-sounding tones and patterns, rather than the heavy reliance on melodramatic strings that seems to characterize a lot of other music. The music tends to be quite organic, relying on real instruments rather than synthesized or electronic sounds.
